That said, I try to remain actively engaged in research: between lessons and school trips, I find time to write and further develop my philosophical projects.

Research interests
I am interested in philosophical logic (especially proof theory, non-classical logics, relational semantics), philosophy of logic and mathematics (e.g., inferentialism, practice-based approaches, social and educational aspects), epistemology (e.g., the nature of proofs, mathematical and logical knowledge and explanation), and history of logic (e.g., theories of modalities and conditionals, logical communities, medieval logic). In relation to these areas, I have recently developed an interest in the philosophy of mathematical practice.

I also have broader philosophical interests in other areas that I occasionally like to explore, such as philosophy of religion and literature, gender studies and 20th-century Italian philosophy (a legacy from my early days in philosophy).
